Turkish citizen killed an Uzbek woman in Georgia out of jealousy
According to the report of "Novosti-Gruzii", an elderly Turkish citizen is accused of killing an Uzbek woman in Batumi.
The crime was committed today at the Princess Casino which is located in one of the hotels in the center of Batumi.
During the investigation process, it was identified that a 57-year-old suspect attacked 2 Uzbek women out of jealousy. The women, 38-year-old and 31-year-old, suffered wounds because of his outright hostility.
An Uzbek woman, 31, died before the arrival of the ambulance. Another lady, 38, was taken to a medical clinic in Batumi and her condition is stable.
The offender was arrested on the spot. Investigation is underway. He is convicted of “intentional killing of a person” under the criminal proceedings. He may be imprisoned from 7 to 15 years.
