Uzbekistan to supply Poland with textile products 

The delegation of the “Uztekstilprom” association and representatives of enterprises of the textile and garment and knitwear industry will visit Poland. 
 
According to the association, the visit aims to study the possibility of exporting textile products from Uzbekistan to the European Union countries, in particular to Poland. 
 
At the embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland, a meeting was held between the Uzbek representatives of enterprises of the textile, garment and knitwear industry and the leadership of Polish textile companies. During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the current state of cooperation, upcoming plans between Uzbekistan and Poland in the textile industry, investment activities of Polish companies, as well as cooperation in the scientific-research field. 
 
The Uzbek side provided information on the development of the textile industry in the republic, the implemented investment and social projects in the industry. In addition, the association “Uztekstilprom” made a number of proposals to optimize the export of domestic textile products to Poland.  
 
Following the talks, an agreement was reached on taking measures to implement favorable conditions for the export of textile products to the Polish market. The relevant agreements were signed on November 24 during the International Textile Exhibition “Fast Textile 2018” at the Polish city Nadarzyn.
