Azerbaijani confectionary company to launch export of products to Uzbekistan in 2019
Can-Pa, the Azerbaijani confectionary company, plans to launch export of products to Russia, Uzbekistan and the UAE in 2019, Trend reports citing the marketing director of the company, Gunay Khalafzade.
It should be noted that the company does not have any supplies abroad yet, but it actively takes part in exhibitions and fairs in order to push the sale of its products.
Ms. Gunay Khalafzade stated that the company’s products, such as dragees and marmalade together with other locally made sweets were presented at the UZPRODEXPO food exhibition held in Tashkent on Nov. 21-23.
“Uzbekistan is a close country for us, so we want to establish exports in that direction,” the company representative said.
The company has already obtained a certificate for exports to Uzbekistan, and is currently negotiating with the Azerbaijani company Grante in Moscow on arranging export supplies.
Can-Pa LLC has been operating since March 18, 2003. The confectionery company is engaged in both production activities and retail. Can-Pa is a distributor of Turkish companies Elit, Taha, Ece, Ekmekçioğlu Hicret, etc.
In January-September 2018, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan reached $30.73 million, of which $7.08 million accounted for exports from Azerbaijan and $23.65 million for imports from Uzbekistan.
