Chinese companies to build a gelatin-producing enterprise and modern hotel in Fergana

In Fergana region, a Chinese company is planning to build a plant producing gelatin. It is noted that this product is used in the industry of furniture and footwear, the press service of the regional khokimiyat reported.

Delegation of Fergana region took part in the “International Conference of Fraternal Cities” in Ukhan, the administrative center of Hubei Province in China. The conference was attended by the representatives of over 700 cities across more than 130 countries. 

During the conference, a video clip “Welcome to Uzbekistan was presented to the participants in order to introduce them the economic and tourism potential of the country.

Ukhan Chamber of Commerce-Industry and dozens of companies participated in a seminar on investment attractiveness of Fergana region. Companies specialized in the construction of hotel and shopping centers, providing tourism services, as well as the companies dealing with car spare parts and export-import, paid special attention to Fergana region. Particularly, “Dossen International Group Hubei branch” offered to build a hotel in Fergana. The company “Hubei Frukt” expressed interest in importing Uzbek fruits.

Currently, there are 36 joint ventures and 19 foreign companies operating in Fergana region in cooperation with China. Also, 11 projects worth $ 245 million are being implemented with the Chinese direct investment.
