Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Saudi Arabia hands over his Credentials to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud
On November 25, 2018, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Maksudov presented his credentials to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.
Following the solemn ceremony, which took place in the royal palace of Al-Yamamah in the city of Riyadh, Mr. Maksudov had a conversation with King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The head of the kingdom stressed that Uzbekistan is a friendly, reliable and promising partner of Saudi Arabia in the region, and also expressed his country’s readiness to bring Saudi-Uzbek relations to a qualitatively new level in all areas of mutual interest.
The king asked to convey to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev his deep respect and invited the head of our state to pay an official visit to Saudi Arabia at a convenient time for him.
