Tashkent, Dushanbe to facilitate bilateral access to health resorts for citizens of two countries

Citizens of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will now be able to obtain vouchers to resorts, sanatoriums, children’s camps of two states without any obstacles.
Last weekend, an agreement on this was reached at the end of the FITUT (Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan) delegation’s working visit to Tashkent, “ASIA-Plus” reports with reference to the statement of deputy head of the FITUT Ismoil Fayzizoda.
According to him, Tajik citizens who wish to rest in the health resorts of Uzbekistan can buy vouchers at the representative offices of the trade unions of Tajikistan. The same procedure is provided for the citizens of the neighboring state: they can purchase vouchers for recreation in Tajik sanatoriums without having to leave Uzbekistan.
In addition, sectorial trade unions of two states agreed that starting from next summer, schoolchildren of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be able to spend their summer holidays in children's health camps in neighboring countries.
In accordance with the results of negotiations held in Uzbekistan, trade unions of two states agreed to develop relations between industrial trade unions, such as trade unions of medical workers, education and metallurgy.
