UZEX specialists took part in the seminar of Eurasian Trading System 

Experts and brokers of UZEX participated in a seminar on the theme “Organization of futures trades” organized by the JSC “Eurasian Trading System” (ETS) in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The event was structured within the framework of the agreement signed between the JSC UZEX and the stock exchange JSC ETS.

The main purpose of the visit of UZEX employees was to study the experience of the ETS in organizing the derivative market. During the training program, classes were organized on the fundamentals of the futures market, order and rules of conducting exchange trades in the derivative market. The types and features of the futures contracts, the role of bidders and clearing center in the derivative market were learnt separately.

During practical exercises, a meeting was organized with the participants of the derivative market – marketmakers, the representatives of UZEX also had an opportunity to observe the exchange trades. Additionally, they took part in the Spectrum trading system as an experiment. 

At the end of the event, the seminar topics were discussed, after that the participants were submitted certificates.
