Indian “Rising Hongfa Heavy Machinery” to build several plants in Uzbekistan
An Indian company “Rising Hongfa Heavy Machinery” plans to build several plants in Uzbekistan, Kun.uz correspondent reports referring to the data from the State Committee on Investments.
On December 7, Deputy Chairman of the State Investment Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shamil Burnashev met with the Director of the Indian company Rising Hongfa Heavy Machinery Chowdhury Ratan Singh and other representatives of the company.
As part of the first official visit of the Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to India, the JSC “Uzqurilishmateriallari” and “Rising Hongfa Heavy Machinery” signed an agreement on organizing the production of modern concrete materials worth about $ 3 million.
The investment project includes the construction of a modern plant to produce new types of refractory in 2020, waterproof and insulating concrete wall slabs for the needs of the construction industry. It has been identified that a preliminary location of the modern plant will be Bekabad.
On December 1-8, the Indian delegation visited Uzbekistan in order to study the issues of further development of the project implementation. During the working visit, meetings were organized with the leadership of the Ministry of Health, Agency for the Development of Pharmaceutical Industry, “Uzqurilishmateriallari” and “Uzmetkombinat”. Furthermore, an introductory visit to Bekabad was arranged.
At the Agency for the Development of Pharmaceutical Industry, representatives of the delegation expressed their readiness to expand cooperation in this area, including the production of pharmaceuticals in Uzbekistan. The parties agreed to exchange necessary information on existing benefits and preferences in the pharmaceutical industry for investment cooperation.
Within the framework of the meeting at the Ministry of Health, issues of organizing training seminars for doctors and retraining of medical personnel in India were discussed.
The management of “Rising Hongfa Heavy Machinery” stressed that they are interested in developing cooperation in other sectors, including the modernization of medical institutions.
At the end of the meeting, the parties identified preliminary deadlines for discussing the results of marketing researches and making a business plan for the project.
It should be noted that “Rising Hongfa Heavy Machinery” is engaged in the production of construction equipment and building materials, has 4 factories in India. Geographically, the product supply covers 80 countries of the world, including the USA, Russia, Australia, Brazil and the countries of Central Asia.
