The raid was conducted on October 1 in the Gachibowli area after police received a tip-off. Officers from Gachibowli police, together with officials from the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, raided the hotel and rescued the six women.

Police arrested two men, identified as Rammohan Reddy and Nikhil, who allegedly operated the illegal business by renting rooms at the hotel and luring customers.

According to The Hans India, police found that the women had been brought to Hyderabad for a nominal payment, while the organizers allegedly attracted customers from different states.

The passports and visas of the rescued women were checked and found to be valid. Police said the women had entered India on tourist visas.

Based on statements from the foreign nationals, police registered cases under relevant provisions related to human trafficking and launched a further investigation.
