Uzbek citizen detained in Russia for offering the policeman 1000 rubles in bribe
In Volgograd, the prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case against a 25-year-old Uzbek man who offered a bribe to a police officer, the press service of the Southern Transport Prosecutor's Office reported.
In December 2018, in the building of the Volgograd-1 railway station, a native of Uzbekistan tried to help his friend, whom the law enforcement officer intended to bring to administrative responsibility for violating the migration rules. The migrant offered the police officer 1000 rubles in bribe, but the police officer refused the money.
On this fact, a criminal case was initiated, the progress of which is under the control of the prosecutor's office.
