China remains Uzbekistan's largest trading partner in Jan–May 2026
Uzbekistan conducted trade with 185 countries during the first five months of 2026, with China retaining its position as the country's largest trading partner, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Total trade turnover with China reached $7.7 billion during the January–May period. Russia ranked second with $5.8 billion, followed by Kazakhstan with $2.3 billion.
Turkey placed fourth with bilateral trade totaling $1.2 billion. Afghanistan ranked fifth at $915.8 million, ahead of France with $771.9 million.
The Republic of Korea recorded trade turnover of $747.8 million with Uzbekistan, narrowly ahead of the United Arab Emirates at $746.6 million.
Germany ranked ninth with bilateral trade amounting to $501.9 million, while the Kyrgyz Republic completed the top 10 with $469 million in trade turnover.
