$ 15 million to be directed to modernize the production of liquefied gas at Mubarek GPP
The government of Uzbekistan has approved a feasibility study of a project to modernize existing installations for the production of propane-butane mixtures at the Mubarek GPP, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
The total cost of the project exceeds $ 15 million and all these funds will be invested by Uzbekneftegaz. Commissioning of objects is scheduled for September 2019.
Today, the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant, following direct negotiations with manufacturers, has already concluded contracts for the supply of equipment, components and materials for more than $ 10 million.
As a result of the project implementation, the annual production volume will reach 281.5 thousand tons of liquefied gas with an increase of 23.2 thousand tons, 90.7 thousand tons of gas condensate with an increase of 7.5 thousand tons.
It is planned to export 31.7 thousand tons of products annually.
It should be recalled that the Mubarek GPP was commissioned in 1971. Currently, the plant has three lines of installations for producing propane-butane mixture with a total capacity of producing liquefied gas up to 260 thousand tons per year.
