President Mirziyoyev congratulates Maltese President on Republic Day

On December 13, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca on the occasion of Maltese Republic Day, the presidential press service reports.

This holiday is always celebrated on 13 December. In Malta, it is called 'Jum ir-Repubblika'.

It is one of five national days in Malta and marks the day in 1974, when Malta became a republic.
