“Uzavtosanoat”, French PSA Groupe to revise project on the construction of automobile plant in Jizzakh region 

The JSC “Uzavtosanoat” and PSA Groupe (France) announced the revision of the project for the construction of an automobile plant in Jizzakh region. This is stated in the report of “Uzavtosanoat”. 
 
According to the agreement on the establishment of a joint venture between companies, an investment project on the organization of production of commercial vehicles is being implemented in Jizzakh region. The project envisages developing the production of two types of commercial vehicles designed for the transportation of passengers and freight. 
 
Currently, the construction and installation works are being completed. Relevant contracts for the delivery of technological and engineering equipment have already been concluded. 
 
However, due to some irregular changes in the initial information, partners are jointly working on changing the concept of the project and optimizing economic parameters.
