Olga Zabelinskaya wins gold for Uzbekistan in Track Cycling Challenge group race in Switzerland

Three-time Olympic medalist in cycling as part of the Russian team Olga Zabelinskaya under the flag of Uzbekistan won the Track Cycling Challenge group race in Switzerland, the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan reported on Thursday.
The athlete won the first place with a score of 48 points, ahead of the Irish Lydia Boylan (46 points). The third place was taken by Italian Elena Cecchini (44). This is the second medal of the highest standard, which Zabelinskaya won under the flag of Uzbekistan. In October, she became first in the “Chrono des Nations” tournament in France.
It is worth noting that these competitions provide rating points for athletes to participate in the XXXII Olympic Games, which will be held in 2020 in Tokyo, Japan.
For information, Zabelinskaya changed her sports citizenship from Russian to Uzbek in the summer.
