Uzbek government awarded the winners of the third Asian Para Games

It should be recalled that on October 6-13 of this year, the third Asian Para Games were held in Jakarta, in which the athletes of Uzbekistan won 77 medals (33 gold, 24 silver and 18 bronze) and set new records both in quality and number of medals.

Today, on December 20, a solemn ceremony of awarding our compatriots took place in the Museum of Olympic Glory. The event was attended by an Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdujabbor Abduvakhidov, President of the National Olympic Committee Umid Akhmadjonov, Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Dilmurod Nabiyev, Chairman of the National Paralympic Association of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Mirkhaydarov, athlete-participants of the third Asian Para Games, their mentors and others.

In compliance with the presidential order “on awarding the winners of the third Asian Para Games”, gold medalists of the tournament received $ 5,000, while silver and bronze winners were given by $ 3,000 and $ 2,000 respectively.

The coaches were awarded $ 2,500 for the gold medal, $ 1,500 for silver and $ 1,000 for bronze.
