The National Paralympic Committee proposed to hold Asian Para Games between young people in late September 2025 and early October with the support of the Ministry of Sports, Gazeta.uz reports.
“A number of strong offers were considered. But the winner can only be one, and we have chosen Tashkent. We are very pleased that the Central Asian region will play its first major regional games, and we hope to serve as a catalyst for the development of para sports in the region,” the APC President Majid Rashid said.
In August last year, it was reported that Uzbekistan would host the IV summer Asian Games between young people in 2025.
According to the presidential spokesman Sherzod Asadov, until now, no country has held the Asian and Asian Para Games in a row.
