Low-cost airline Flydubai to launch flights to Uzbekistan
The Emirati low-cost airline Flydubai will launch direct flights to Uzbekistan in the near future, Kun.uz correspondent reports referring to the data provided by the State Inspection of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Flight Safety Supervision (“Gosavianadzor”).
An agreement on this was reached during the negotiations between representatives of the “Gosavianadzor” and aviation authorities of the Emirate of Dubai, which took place in the UAE.
Flydubai will replace the previously designated carrier Emirates Airline in the direction Dubai-Tashkent. The company will carry out flights to Uzbekistan with a frequency of five times a week. In addition, from the summer of 2019, two additional flights a week will be added.
It should be noted that today, the route network of the airline’s regular flights consists of 94 cities in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe. It has a fleet with more than 60 Boeing aircraft of various modifications.
