Uzbekistan to develop e-healthcare
The Minister of Health of Uzbekistan Alisher Shodmonov met with a delegation of the World Health Organization (WHO) led by Claudia Stein, Director of the Division for Information, Evidence, Research and Innovation at the WHO Regional Office for Europe.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, the parties discussed the development of a roadmap for improving the system of health information, conducting monitoring, evaluation, training and improving the potential of human resources, attracting international experts in the field of e-healthcare, including training of healthcare professionals, providing a grant for comprehensive support for the development of e-healthcare.
At the meeting, it was noted that electronic system in medicine will soon be introduced and allocation of grants to the process of developing information-communication technologies and data management in the system of the Ministry of Health will take place.
