Moscow border guards take Khabib Nurmagomedov for ISIS fighter by mistake

Employees of the Moscow Border Guard Service took the UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and his friend for the militants of the Islamic State terrorist organization by mistake and detained them, Sputnik reports.

Nurmagomedov and his friend were interrogated in accordance with all the necessary procedures.

Not finding anything suspicious, the border guards released the guys. The UFC lightweight champion, who was departing for Turkey, was extremely displeased with the situation.

Despite the unpleasant incident, the athlete made photos with the border guards for memory.

It is worth noting that Khabib Nurmagomedov has recently been named athlete of the year in Russia.
