A new chairman of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan (STC) has been appointed, the press service of the Committee reports.
This position was taken by Behzod Musayev, who worked from March 2018 as the first deputy chairman of the STC.
The post has remained vacant since May of this year, when its former head Botir Parpiev, who headed the department for 14 years, was dismissed.
Behzod Musayev, born in 1973, graduated from Tashkent State University of Economics in 1995, and in 2004, he completed his education at Higher School of Business under the Academy of State and Social Construction at the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
From 2010 to 2011, he worked as first deputy chairman of the Committee. Prior to that, Mr. Musayev was the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber.
