"Infectious diseases result in 78% of all deaths in Uzbekistan" - Ministry of Health
Despite the fact that the majority of agricultural products are grown in our country, consumption of fruits and vegetables in the daily diet is insufficient. As a result of these problems, 78% of all deaths in Uzbekistan accounted for the infectious diseases, the press service of the Uzbek Ministry of Health reports.
On December 18, 2018, a decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to support the prevention of infectious diseases, healthy lifestyle and increasing the physical activity of the population" was adopted. It focuses on improving the activities of healthcare sphere, popularization of the healthy lifestyle, physical activity and proper nutrition.
It should be noted that non-communicable diseases seem to be harmless, in fact, they are major factors to diminish our healthy lifestyle.
