Ex-National Security employee of Tajikistan becomes Director of the RATS SCO Executive Committee

From January 1, 2019, in accordance with the decision of the Council of Heads of SCO Member States, representative of Tajikistan Jumahon Giyosov became the Director of the SCO Regional Antiterrorist Structure located in Tashkent, Foreign Ministry reported.

Mr. Giyosov served as Deputy Director of the Executive Committee of the RATS SCO in 2017-2018, and previously held senior positions in the State Committee for National Security and the Committee on Religious Affairs of Tajikistan.

In 2016–2018, the Director of the RATS SCO Executive Committee was the representative of the Russian Federation Yevgeniy Sysoyev.
