Shavkat Mirziyoyev to pay an official visit to China
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit the People’s Republic of China on 30 August – 3 September at the invitation of President Xi Jinping.

According to the program, the Uzbek leader will take part in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of State meeting and the “SCO Plus” summit in Tianjin on 31 August – 1 September.
The events are expected to conclude with the adoption of the Tianjin Declaration, as well as joint documents and decisions aimed at developing and strengthening cooperation in the areas of security, digital economy, green industry, energy, tourism, and other sectors.
On 2 September in Beijing, President Mirziyoyev will hold talks with Xi Jinping and meet with senior Chinese officials and heads of leading companies. Discussions will focus on further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership and expanding practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and China.
On 3 September, the president will attend the solemn ceremonies dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II.
