In accordance with the draft State Program “Year of Active Investments and Social Development”, the relevant departments, including the Central Bank, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance, State Committee on Competition, State Tax Committee, Prosecutor General's Office, and regional khokimiyats will ensure the stability of prices for consumer goods.
The above-mentioned organizations will be responsible for taking measures to prevent the growth of prices for consumer goods, especially after the introduction of value added tax.
It should be recalled that Uzbekistan introduced the value added tax (VAT) to its tax system starting from January 1, 2019.
