Uzbekistan, Korea ink Memorandum of Cooperation on consumer rights protection
Uzbek Federation of Societies for Consumer Rights Protection and Korea Consumer Agency signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in accordance with which the protection of consumer rights will be ensured.
Citizens of the Republic of Korea, working, studying or visiting Uzbekistan for tourism, in violation of their consumer rights, be it in services or trade, can apply to the helpline 1091 or to www.istemol.uz of the Federation of Societies for Consumer Rights Protection.
Citizens of Uzbekistan who are in the Republic of Korea can also contact Korea Consumer Agency with suggestions, complaints and statements, via hotline +82-43-880-5400 or by email crossborder@kca.go.kr.
This practice will help to solve issues and problems that previously could not be considered at the legislative level, which caused huge losses to tourists from the two countries, adversely affecting the tourism potential and authority of the countries.
