The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the decree on the State Program “Year of Active Investments and Social Development”, which is based on the Actions Strategy along five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021.
The document says that the followings will be established from the academic year 2019/2020:
• gradual introduction of the order to submit documents for universities through the centers of public service;
• introduction of the procedure for allocating detached quotas on the basis of a competitive selection between applicants who have completed military service and received recommendation of the military command for entering universities.
