Khorezm region was remitted the most money from abroad throughout the republic in 2018
In January-December 2018, the nominal growth rate of remittances from abroad, which is part of other current transfers, was 64,6%.
According to the State Statistics Committee, its share in the total income of the population increased by 3,0% compared to the same period last year.
It was noted that such a significant change in the revenues helped to increase the nominal value of the total incomes of the population by 7,3%.
Most of the remittances from abroad were directed to Khorezm (23,2%), Samarkand (19,3%) and Andijan (19%) regions. The least money was transferred to Navoi (5,1%), Tashkent (5,4%) and Jizzakh (6,2%) regions.
