Today, yurts have been widely used to attract tourists. People, who are interested in yurts, can stay for some time inside. This kind of recreation is called jailoo-tourism.
In many restaurants and tourist facilities, both stylish and very real dwellings of nomads can be encountered.
An entrepreneur from Khanabad district Rustamjon Usmanov decided to revive the traditional dwellings of nomads in an innovative way.
The proposed project - a new type of yurt - combines modern design, comfort and low cost of building such houses.
“I was thinking about new ways of attracting tourists to one of the most beautiful and picturesque corners of our republic – Khanabad. At the same time, it should serve not only tourists, but also local residents. Finally, I opted for a useful and promising project. I offer people of Andijan innovative houses which are similar to yurts. All conditions for young families will be created in them,” an author of the project says.
Innovative yurts will be built according to the Japanese technology, using raw materials and materials from foam. Yurts will include a living room, bedroom, toilet, kitchen and even a bathroom.
According to estimations of the entrepreneur, such yurts will cost 25-30 million soums ($3000-3600). At the first stage, it is planned to build 200 such houses with their commissioning for operation in February 2019.
