“International Army Games – 2019” to be held in Uzbekistan
A military sports competition “International Army Games – 2019” will be held in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the first time in the direction “Military-medical relay”, Kun.uz correspondent reports referring to the press service of the Uzbek Ministry of Defense.
Last year, the “ArMI – 2018” games were held in 28 countries, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, China and Russia in 28 directions. The event was attended by military forces of 32 countries across the world. The Uzbek Defense Ministry's military personnel participated in 12 directions and occupied the 6th place by the team’s standing.
In addition, the Uzbek military servicewoman, physician of the Central Military Policlinic at the Defense Ministry, captain of the medical aid Larisa Kholmamatova took part in the contest “Military-medical relay”. She was able to secure the 2nd place in singles competition “Special skills” among medical doctors.
In Uzbekistan, the International Army Games are planned to be held on the field of the military mountain campus “Forish” in Jizzakh region.
