Former tennis player Iroda Tulaganova has been appointed Secretary General of the Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan. This is reported by the Kun.uz correspondent, who participated in the extraordinary electoral conference held on February 8th.
Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee Jasur Matchanov and chairman of the Veterans Council of Uzbekistan Komiljon Hudoyberganov took part in the conference.
Iroda Tulaganova, a single candidate for the post of Secretary-General, was approved unanimously.
37-year-old Iroda Tulaganova is the head coach of the women's national team of Uzbekistan on tennis. She is replacing Igor Shepilov, who has worked for more than 20 years as a Secretary General of the Federation.
