Tashkent branch of Moscow State Institute of International Relations to start work in September
Starting from the 2019/2020 academic year, the Tashkent branch of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MSIIR) will accept applications for both undergraduate and graduate programs.
This was said at a meeting held at the Foreign Ministry on February 9, 2019 between Abdujabbor Abduvakhidov, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and Artem Malgin, Vice-Rector of MSIIR, who arrived in Uzbekistan heading the Russian delegation.
The meeting discussed practical aspects of organizing the V International Forum of MSIIR graduates and opening its branch in Tashkent in the spring of this year.
The parties exchanged views on the implementation of previously reached agreements on the organization of MSIIR Tashkent branch activities. Issues related to repairing and equipping the building were also considered.
The first World Alumni Forum of MSIIR “Together in the Future” was held in Baku (Azerbaijan) in April 2013. About 400 graduates of this educational institution from 25 countries of the world took part in it. In general, the contact base of the MSIIR Alumni Association consists of around 50,000 names.
