Gulnara Karimova's son published an address to Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his Instagram account and spoke about the pressure on his mother.
“For unknown reasons, my mother is pressurized inhumanly until the hypertensive crisis and doctors are not allowed to examine her. There were agreements and conditions between the parties,” he said.
In his opinion, some of the executives “do not like the quiet closure of existing issues”.
“I ask the President, as a person known to us since our childhood, as a decent follower of my grandfather, to pay attention and hear me and my sister! My sister was forced to stay with our mother these days and she has already become sick with her heart, but doctors are not allowed even in this situation. I am concerned about the health of my mother and sister. I very much hope for assistance in restoring human common sense,” Jr. Islam Karimov said.
The press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan reported that there is no pressure on Gulnara Karimova and she has been provided with free access of doctors.
It should be recalled that in the summer of 2017, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan disclosed details on the case of Gulnara Karimova. As it turned out, in August 2015, she was found guilty of committing a number of financial crimes and was sentenced to 5 years on probation.
