Andijan region is appointed new First Deputy Head of Internal Affairs Department

In Andijan, First Deputy Head of the regional department of Internal Affairs has been appointed, the press service of the Interior Ministry reports.

According to official report, Lieutenant Colonel Sanjar Jabborov became the new First Deputy Head of Internal Affairs department of the Andijan region.

It should be recalled that in January this year, several officials of the regional department of internal affairs were arrested in Andijan. Sources in law enforcement agencies told Kun.uz that criminal cases under relevant articles of the Criminal Code were initiated against them, including the former First Deputy Head of the regional department of Internal Affairs.

In particular, a criminal case was instituted against some employees of the Criminal Investigation Department under Articles 206 (abuse of power) and 234 (illegal detention or imprisonment) of the Criminal Code.
