SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov receives Kyrgyz Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov, within the framework of his official visit to the People’s Republic of China on Wednesday, visited the SCO Secretariat, Kyrgyz media reports with reference to the republic’s Foreign Ministry.

Aidarbekov held talks with Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Vladimir Norov.

During the meeting, the sides discussed preparation and organization of upcoming events of the SCO in Bishkek, including meetings of the SCO Heads of State Council, SCO Council of Foreign Ministers, Security Council Secretaries and other responsible bodies of the SCO.

The parties considered practical interaction of the Kyrgyz side with the SCO Secretariat during events planned under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic in the SCO.

Furthermore, an exchange of views on strengthening economic cooperation within the framework of the SCO took place.
