New textbooks on legal subjects will be published soon – Ruslanbek Davletov
Legal textbooks and manuals should be thoroughly revised, Minister of Justice Ruslanbek Davletov says.
On March 1, at the XVIII plenary session of the Senate, a report of the Minister of Justice on the status of legal advocacy and enlightenment in 2018 was heard.
According to Davletov, one generation was lost in the pre-school and public education system due to the lack of adequate attention to the educational process in coordination with legal education and the lack of appropriate programs and standards.
“We could not rely on a specific mechanism to improve their legal intellect. The head of our state pays great attention to this matter,” the minister said.
After reviewing these textbooks, they were recognized as very difficult to be understood by not only schoolchildren, but also by students of the law university.
“So, we are jointly working with the Ministry of Public Education and soon we will prepare a new generation of textbooks and publish them,” Davletov added.
