Publication Maʼrifat: Entrants of Tashkent Law University scored best at state exams last year

The level of points scored by applicants for admission indicates both the knowledge of applicants and the level of competition in this field. The publication Maʼrifat published an article with information on the points scored when entering universities for the academic year 2018-2019. According to the data, the average score for universities is as follows:

Tashkent State Law University - 218.1;
University of World Economy and Diplomacy - 188.4;
Tashkent University of Uzbek Language and Literature - 185.1;
Bukhara State Medical Institute - 166.4.

The highest score on a tuition fee basis:

University of World Economy and Diplomacy - 164.1;
Tashkent State Law University - 162.3;
Tashkent State Dental Institute - 160.0;
Tashkent University of Uzbek Language and Literature - 157.7;
Tashkent Medical Academy - 156.9.

Universities with the largest admission quota:

State grants:

Tashkent State Technical University - 578;
Urgench State University - 567;
Karakalpak State University - 545;
Bukhara State University - 539;
Samarkand State University - 513.

Tuition fees:

Samarkand State University - 2163;
Bukhara State University - 2105;
Urgench State University - 1905;
National University of Uzbekistan - 1904;
Fergana State University - 1889.

Earlier, an article was also published under the title “In which district are there the most knowledgeable applicants?”. According to the data of the State Testing Center given in the article, in 2018, seven of the ten districts of the republic that delegated the largest number of students at universities are located in Bukhara region (Shofirkon, Vobkent, Peshku, Karakul, Gijduvan, Karaulbazar districts and Bukhara city), the other three are in Navoi region (Zarafshan and Navoi cities, including Kiziltepa district).

The lowest rates are in Angor, Oltinkul, Sariosiyo, Arnasoy, Izboskan, Asaka, Andijan, Sherabad districts and Karasu city. For example, out of 4977 applicants from Sherabad district, only 5.7% scored well in the exams.
