Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan reach agreement on conducting field demarcation work on individual sections of the State border
From March 1 to 7, a regular meeting of the working groups of Uzbek-Turkmen joint intergovernmental commission on delimitation and demarcation of the state border between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan was held in Turkmenabad.
According to the MFA of Uzbekistan, during the negotiations, the parties continued to consider proposals for the passage of the project demarcation line of the interstate border, and an agreement was reached on conducting field demarcation work on its individual sections.
The meeting was held in the traditional atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
Following the negotiations, the relevant Protocol was signed.
