Green initiative campaign kicks off in Tashkent 

“Everyone can get a tree for planting at their place of residence and plant it on one of the vacant zones specially allocated for planting trees (information about such zones will be provided) or on their own piece of land,” Tashkent city administration said.

The event involves more than 2,000 volunteers throughout the city. The main goal of the initiative is to increase the ecological well-being of Tashkent.

A large-scale work is being attended by local self-government bodies, public organizations, representatives of state institutions, ministries and departments, as well as other organizations.

In addition, as part of the campaign, a concert program, master classes and other thematic events are scheduled in the capital on March 9, 10 and 16, 17.
