Man detained for trafficking more than one kilogram of marijuana

On March 5, 2019 in Akhangaran district of Tashkent region, law enforcement officers held an operative event, the press service of the Interior Ministry reports.

As a result, Kh. A., resident of the micro-district No.4 in Akhangaran city, was arrested for hiding 1 kg 255 grams of drug substance “marijuana”.

A criminal case has been initiated under relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. An investigation is underway.
