Poroshenko dismisses Ambassador of Ukraine to Uzbekistan

President Petro Poroshenko dismissed Yuriy Savchenko as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Uzbekistan on March 12, Ukrainian media reports.

The relevant decree is published on the official website of the president.

“Savchenko Yuri Vasilevich will be relieved of the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Uzbekistan,” the document says.

Savchenko, 65, has been working as Ambassador to Uzbekistan since 2010.
