Slovenia appoints new ambassador to Uzbekistan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov today received the new Ambassador of Slovenia with residence in Moscow, Daria Bavdazh Kuret.

“We are pleased to receive credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Slovenia to Uzbekistan Daria Bavdazh Kuret. We discussed the main priorities of Uzbek-Slovenian cooperation in both a bilateral and multilateral context. We wish Madam Ambassador success in strengthening the significant potential of our growing relationship,” the Uzbek FM wrote on his Telegram channel.
Uzbekistan and Slovenia established diplomatic relations on January 16, 1995.
Career diplomat Daria Bavdazh Kuret replaced Branko Rakovc, who served as Slovenian Ambassador in Tashkent from 2019 to 2024.
