What position Tashkent holds in the ranking of most favorable cities for living?
Vienna tops the 2019 Quality of Living Ranking for the 10th year running, international consulting firm Mercer reports.
The ranking assessed 231 cities of the world based on different criteria, including living, political and social conditions, transportation, nutrition, household goods and recreation, climatic conditions, socio-cultural environment, education and medicine.
In the rating, the Austrian capital is closely followed by Zurich and Vancouver. The top ten included Munich, Auckland, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Geneva and Basel.
Tashkent is ranked 203rd most favorable city for living. Among CIS cities, Moscow occupied the 167th place, Kiev 173, St. Petersburg 174, Minsk 188, Bishkek 206, Ashgabat 211, and Dushanbe 215.
