Illegal parking to be fixed on the spot, penalized automatically

In Tashkent city, the department of Internal Affairs reported on upgrading AutoCon-SC/M software complex. Now the traffic violations will be automatically recorded, including the road sign 3.27 (the stop is prohibited).

It should be recalled that the AutoCon-SC/M complex is equipped with some of the special vehicles of the traffic safety department of Tashkent city. The video camera, attached to the windshield, recognizes the state number plates of 58 countries and fixes traffic violations automatically (without human intervention). Fixing the violation of the road sign 3.27 will be carried out during the movement of the special car around the city. The data about the intruder is immediately (online) transferred to the computerized traffic safety management system.

“It will be possible to know about the recorded violation from a letter sent to the address of registration, or by sending an SMS request to the number 8860 in the format of state number plate of the vehicle, space + serial number of vehicle registration (for example: 0 1A123AA AAC1234567). One incoming SMS costs 210 soums. The service is available only to UMS, Ucell, Uzmobile and Beeline subscribers,” the police department noted.

Note that stopping a car under the sign 3.27 is punished with a fine in the amount of 3 MMW (608,190 soums) according to article 128/6 of the Administrative Liability Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
