President strongly criticized regional khokims

During the videoconference meeting on April 4 chaired by the president, it was noted that in the second quarter of the year, there is a task of making $1.1 billion more in exports than in the first quarter.

“In particular, in April-June, it is necessary to ensure 3 times more exports of fruits and vegetables compared to the first quarter,” the president said.

The head of state harshly criticized those responsible in certain spheres and industries, as well as regional leaders for the fact that available opportunities have not been fully exploited.

It is entrusted to submit practical proposals in the near future with an indication of what competitive advantages the country has for producing export-oriented products.

In this regard, the Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to introduce, with the involvement of departments responsible for export-import operations, a “one window” system, which will provide public services related to foreign economic activity.

The State Customs Committee was pointed out the need to take appropriate measures to increase the capacity of customs posts during the ripening season and prevent queues.

Also, the State Inspectorate for Quarantine was entrusted with conducting negotiations with the quarantine services of foreign countries in order to actively promote locally grown sweet cherries, apricots, cherries and other popular products, and also taking measures to create favorable conditions for domestic exporters.

The Ministry of Transport has been instructed to make extensive use of railway transport opportunities in the export of fruits and vegetables, to introduce a simplified mechanism on the principle of “one window”.

At the meeting, the leaders of each industry and region were indicated their personal responsibility for ensuring the stability and timeliness of export earnings.
