Uzbekistan becomes a partner country of the International Tourism Forum “Big Ural-2019”

In the Sverdlovsk region, preparations began for the VII International Tourist Forum “Big Ural-2019”. The event will be held in Yekaterinburg on April 25-26. The partner country will be Uzbekistan.

According to the information portal of the Sverdlovsk region, Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev, following a meeting with the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg, Abdusalom Khatamov, instructed the Center for Tourism Development of the Sverdlovsk Region to work out issues of cooperation in tourism.

As the Director of the Tourism Development Center of the Sverdlovsk Region Elmira Tukanova noted that the Sverdlovsk Region and Uzbekistan have a great potential for cooperation, including due to the availability of direct flights and visa-free travel. The tourist potential of the partner country will be widely represented on the sites of the “Big Ural”, and the delegation will also include travel companies interested in selling and promoting the Ural tourism product.

Uzbekistan will not be the only foreign participant in the forum: for example, the Azerbaijani delegation led by the chairman of the State Tourism Agency, Fuad Nagiyev, has already confirmed its participation.

Representatives of federal, regional and municipal government bodies, foreign diplomatic missions, information and tourist centers, leading Russian and foreign experts in the field of tourism and hospitality, representatives of public organizations, tour operators interested in the formation and implementation of tourism products in the region have already been invited to participate in the forum.

Every year the forum is attended by professional participants from many regions of Russia and dozens of countries.
