Finland intends to create a waste processing plant in Tashkent
A meeting with Markku Keinänen, Under Secretary of State for External Economic Relations of the Foreign Ministry of Finland, was held at the Tashkent city administration.
During the talks, the sides exchanged views on some political and economic issues between Uzbekistan and Finland.

It was noted that the opening of the Honorary Consulate of Finland in Tashkent is of great importance in the development of mutual cooperation between the two countries.


The guest delegation stressed that the abolition of visas for citizens of some countries to stay in Uzbekistan up to 30 days is a big step for the development of tourism.
The parties considered the prospects of trade, economic and tourist relations between Uzbekistan and Finland. In particular, the creation of modern production facilities for waste processing and paint products was discussed.
