President of South Korea arrives in Uzbekistan
At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit, the presidential press service reports.
Abdulla Aripov, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, met the distinguished guest at the Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.
Today, the President of the Republic of Korea, accompanied by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, will visit Inha University in Tashkent, where he will get acquainted with the presentation of the telemedicine project, which is planned to be implemented in cooperation between our countries.
The talks between the Presidents of Uzbekistan and South Korea will be held on April 19 at the Kuksaroy residence. In the course of negotiations, prospects for further strengthening practical cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, financial, technical and humanitarian spheres will be discussed.
Signing of a weighty package of documents is expected. In particular, it is planned to adopt a declaration on a special strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.
