Prosecutor General’s Office launches criminal proceedings against People's Bank executives in Kitab district 

In Kashkadarya region, the Kitab district department employees under the Prosecutor General’s Office have monitored the targeted use of loans allotted for citizens for construction of greenhouses under the state program “Every family entrepreneur”.

According to the report of the Prosecutor General’s Office, it was identified that the working group formed in the district and employees of the bank had not studied the authentic needs of citizens applying for a loan. As a result, the Kitab district branch of People's Bank illegally provided 11 citizens with 147 million soums for the construction of greenhouses and the loans were spent unintentionally.

On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated against the officials of the Kitab district branch of People's Bank and others under relevant articles of the Criminal Code. Currently, investigative actions are underway.
