Charlatan misappropriates $100,000 of a man in Tashkent

In Tashkent, a fraudster cheated a resident of the Kibray district and misappropriated his $100,000, the press service of the Interior Ministry reports.

“On May 8, in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district, an impostor was detained by law enforcement officers as a result of operational activities. He took from a resident of the Kibray district $100,000 and promised to issue 95 hectares of land on his name on a rental basis in the Parkent district, allegedly, with assistance of his friends,” the Ministry said.

According to the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the Interior Ministry, a criminal case has been initiated on the above fact. An investigation is underway.
